 Corrosion Resistant Diaphragm Seals for Hot Acids
Available on any design, threaded or flanged, Tantaline treated diaphragm seals offer higher corrosion resistance than Hastelloy, titanium, zirconium and tantalum metal diaphragm seals at prices less than Hastelloy diaphragm seals by 15%-20%.
Tantaline treated diaphragm seals (typically the lower housing), supplied by high quality manufacturers like Trerice, become the most corrosion and acid resistant diaphragm seal assemblies commercially available for use in hot acids like hydrochloric acid (HCl), sulfuric acid (H2SO4), acetic acid, sour gas (H2S) and nitric acid.
Tantaline achieves this by growing a tantalum surface alloy into the stainless steel diaphragm seal lower housing. The result is the Tantaline treated diaphragm seal housing have unmatched corrosion and acid resistance at costs less than other specialty corrosion resistant metals and polymers.
