Tantaline® tantalum fasteners are the most corrosion resistant fasteners that are commercially available. Tantaline corrosion resistant fasteners are ideal for hot acids (including hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid), highly corrosive chemicals, and/or applications require superior corrosion performance. Tantaline corrosion resistant tantalum fasteners which include, nuts, bots, washers and threaded rod, are produced from steel substrates that are treated in our Tantaline process to create a tantalum surface alloy.
The advantages of a Tantaline's tantalum fasteners compared to solid tantalum fasteners:
1. A Tantaline tantalum fastener has the same corrosion resistance as solid tantalum.
2. Tantaline tantalum fasteners have a higher yield strength than solid tantalum due to the fact that a Tantaline product utilizes a steel core.
3. Tantaline tantalum fasteners are not susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement like solid tantalum fasteners.
4. Tantaline tantalum fasteners cost significantly less than solid tantalum fasteners.
How to Order Tantaline Fasteners

For quoting and ordering, simply specify: ISO, DIN or UNC standard with the relevant size.
