Tantaline® treated acid resistant heat exchangers are the most corrosion resistant heat exchangers commercially available. Tantaline treated heat exchangers are cost-performance wise an attractive solution compared to specialty metal heat exchangers like Hastelloy, titanium zirconium and tantalum heat exchangers.

Acid resistant heat exchangers

Tantaline® treated heat exchangers are designed for hot acid applications including hydrochloric acid (HCl), sulfuric acid (H2SO4), acetic acid, sour gas (H2S) and nitric acid as well as strong organic chemicals. Tantaline® treated acid resistant heat exchangers are available in plate and frame heat exchangers and fully welded plate heat exchangers. Tantaline® treated acid resistant heat exchangers are a higher performing and a cost competitive option to nickel alloys (Hastelloy), titanium (Ti),and  Zirconium (Zr) heat exchangers.
