Tantaline tantalum thermowells are avaiable on any design: tapered, threaded, flanged, Van Stone or sanitary styles. Tantaline tantalum thermowells offer the corrosion resistance of solid tantalum but at a fraction of the cost.

Because the Tantaline process grows the tantalum metal into and metalurgically alloys to standard stainless steel thermowells, the tantalum surface could be applied to any thermowell design and have the same performance of solid tantalum thermowells.

Compared to tantalum jacket thermowells, Tantaline tantalum thermowells are available on any thermowell design, offers quicker measurement response time due no air gaps, and do not suffer the effects of tantalum hydrogen embrittlement.
