Note the following guideline when assembling tapered threaded Tantaline parts including NPT and BSP threads

Deformation of the threads may damage tantalum layer. Therefore special attention is required when assembling.

• Only use specified mating thread.
   

• Cover the entire length of thread with PTFE-tape. Be sure that the tape covers the full length and approximately 2 mm (0.1“) outside the threads in each end. Pay special attention to the leading end.

   

• Do not over tighten.
   

• If you experience difficulties sealing, please disconnect and inspect and apply more sealing tape. Do not over tighten.
   

• If the external surface is wetted and protected with the Tantaline surface use a strap wrench as to not
